Site Features & Navigation
Last updated on 1/3/2026
To make finding and reading content easier, I've implemented several features inspired by modern IDEs and command palettes.
Command Palette
You can open the global search from any page by pressing the / key.
Search Commands
- Plain Search: Just type anything to search through titles and descriptions.
- Tag Search: Type
tag:followed by a category (e.g.,tag:Kotlin) to filter results by specific topics. The palette will highlight these commands in color.
Navigation Shortcuts
- Arrows (↑ / ↓): Move between results. The navigation is circular (jumping from bottom to top and vice-versa).
- Enter: Open the selected item.
- Cmd + Enter (or Ctrl + Enter): Open the selected item in a new tab without closing the search.
- Esc: Close the search palette.
Tags
Articles are categorized using tags to help you find related content. You can see tags at the top of each article or search for them directly using the command palette.
Mentions
On note pages, the search palette features a Mentions section. It automatically extracts and lists other notes or external resources mentioned in the current article, allowing for quick cross-referencing.
Multilingual Support
The site is fully localized. You can switch between English, Deutsch, and Українська using the language switcher in the footer or by searching for "Switch to..." in the command palette.
